What is MultiSearch?
It is a federated search engine that allows you to simultaneously search multiple databases within Adelphi University (AU) Libraries' collection and combines the results into one list. The user can cross-search databases within one subject area or across multiple subject areas, from one search interface. For more information on how to use Multi Search, click here.

Coverage & Access
Years of coverage for a particular journal or newspaper may vary for each database. Searching techniques may differ within each database.

Some databases can only be accessed on campus at the Garden City, Hauppauge or Manhattan Centers, as noted in their "about" descriptions. For all other databases, currently enrolled Adelphi students in good standing with the library can gain remote access to Adelphi's online databases and journals. See the remote access instructions for additional information.

See the Alumni Databases page for information about which databases alumni may access.

Can't Find the Article at Adelphi?
Full text of articles not available in our databases or print collection may be requested from another library via an interlibrary loan request. The University reference librarians can assist in arranging an interlibrary loan.
